How do we work with clients?
STEP 1. CLIENTS INQUIRY
After viewing our website, new clients can get in touch by email or phone to schedule an appointment.
As professional interior designers on the Sunshine Coast, we offer complete interior design services for both residential and commercial projects — locally and interstate, from concept to completion. We oversee construction with a strong focus on project coordination, attention to detail, and personalised client care.
We understand that managing a project — particularly one involving construction, multiple trades, and significant investment can feel overwhelming. Our client-focused approach ensures a guided, supportive process that brings clarity and reduces stress at every stage.
STEP 2. INITIAL MEETING
After your initial enquiry, a member of our team — typically Eileen and/or Andy — will meet with you for a 30-minute consultation to discuss your vision and outline the project scope. It’s a valuable opportunity for us to listen, understand your lifestyle, and explore your preferences and goals for your home.
We’ll review the scope of works for clarity and offer early design insight where appropriate. Our client-focused approach as an experienced interior designer on the Sunshine Coast ensures each space is not only beautiful but a true reflection of how you live.
To get the most from your consultation, we recommend bringing any plans, images, or samples — visual context helps us tailor our advice to your home interior design vision.

STEP 3. DESIGN BRIEF
At your first meeting, we take the time to gather essential information about your project — from goals and lifestyle needs to plans and priorities. This conversation helps us shape a clear Design Brief, which allows us to better understand the scope of works and tailor our interior design services accordingly.
From there, we develop a detailed scope of services and fee proposal — providing clarity, aligning with your home interior design vision, and offering peace of mind through our client-focused approach from the very beginning.
STEP 4. DESIGN SERVICES
Once we receive your approval and deposit, our Interiority team begins the design process. Depending on your project, services may include custom cabinetry design for quoting and manufacture, detailed space planning, furniture package selections, and lighting and electrical layouts. All documentation is presented in a clear, professional format — scaled CAD drawings, finish and fixture schedules, and curated furniture presentations — ensuring accuracy, alignment with your vision, and seamless coordination with trades and suppliers.
STEP 5. JOB COSTING
To support clarity and informed decision-making, Interiority Interior Design Consulting — or one of our trusted builders — can provide a detailed project estimate. This service is offered at a separate cost and depends on the size and complexity of your project. Costs are itemised by trade, including demolition, carpentry, plumbing, tiling, electrical, and painting, along with individual pricing for cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and flooring. This breakdown allows for adjustments to materials or scope before commencement. Estimates also include builder’s insurance and all mandatory contract inclusions, ensuring transparency and peace of mind.
STEP 6. CONSTRUCTION
Once the Construction Building Cost Proposal is approved, the build will begin. Trades are carefully managed and scheduled to ensure a smooth, stress-free process. All works are carried out in accordance with Interiority’s detailed plans, supporting quality control and a well-executed result.
STEP 7. INSTALLATION
Interiority offers tailored furniture selection and layout design to help you achieve the ideal look and feel for your home. With access to an extensive network of trusted Australian suppliers, we source quality, designer furniture at competitive prices — all with the goal of creating a cohesive and personalised mood throughout your space.
We also provide a complete window treatment service, including the selection, manufacturing, and installation of curtains, blinds, and shutters. The process begins with a site check and quote, followed by a final measure by our installers before fabrics are ordered and manufacturing begins — ensuring accuracy, quality, and a seamless result.
