OCEANS APARTMENTS
When you go on a holiday there is a certain expectation to experience the context and have wonderful memories of the place you stayed. Ocean’s Resort is right on the foreshore of Mooloolaba and the apartments decorated by Interiority deliver on every front. Using the flora and fauna of the Sunshine Coast as inspiration to ensure the travelers memories of their stay stem from inspired design using, deep ocean blues, aqua and blue greens contrasted with crisp white to emulate the surf, blue skies and pandanus that dawn the local landscape. The textures acknowledged through the choice of rug details, furniture items and décor imitate the texture of beach sand and driftwood.
HASTINGS ST APARTMENT
The 2 Hasting street apartments in Noosa were ready for a makeover and we delivered style with clever choices for the rental market as well as elevating the investors perceived value of the holiday home. The 2 projects fashion neutral colour schemes, one light and one dark created by use of textured timber laminates and neutral durable fabrics and furniture choices. A hint of the informal was thrown into the mix to help integrate with the cultural vernacular of the Noosa beachfront neighborhood.

Hamptons seems to be a very popular style appropriate to the Sunshine Coast’s coastline. This home really has a great foundation to build upon with glazing bars and typical Hamptons details in the architecture. Adding to that, we established a beautiful combination of wallpapers, fabrics and colours to create ‘The Garden Room’ including a fireplace and shelving for the library. The front lounge used more often as the TV room was showcased with a distinct coastal/mariner theme in blues and whites to reflect the colour palette of the ocean. The Hamptons style provides a great opportunity to bring colour and style. A lovely project that came together nicely.

A plantation style home with contemporary overtones is a real treat to embellish with colour, texture and pattern. A well thought out solution provides a balance of subtle neutral tones with exciting accents that contrast in tone or pattern. The introduction of African grasslands embroided cushions for the lounge sets the scene. Adding to that a rich warm wall colour behind the sofa contrasting with the milk white trims and skirting. The subtle colour palette sets a perfect background for the inclusion of the client’s decor items and artefacts.

This home is the abode of 3 boys: dad and his 2 sons. The property was purchased very quickly, and the boys needed an empty house to rapidly become a fully furnished, habitable home. We set about creating concepts and developing a theme to go throughout, resulting in a masculine but cosy hub for the boys.

The brief was to compliment the existing architecture that was fundamentally an Old Queenslander design. The clients wanted a more up to date approach to this Queenslander design, while acknowledging their mid century modern furniture.

Sometimes all that is needed is a little decorative expertise as well as good furniture selection to build on furniture collections that clients have. These clients had travelled extensively and had brought pieces of furniture back to Australia with them. We added artwork, a lounge, outdoor furniture, and new furniture for their sitting lounge. A distinct style was developed drawing inspiration from the east, which was appropriate for these clients as well as using tactile wall sculptures and artistic décor items to finish the concept with style.
MOOLOOLABA APARTMENT

The brief for this home was to incorporate the client’s refined Hamptons style into the new furniture selections for the living room, while also delivering more colour and elegance. The Hampton’s style, loose cover lounge was upholstered in a light blue/grey fibreguard fabric to fit the brief and to withstand the wear and tear of grandchildren. The timber slatted tables were selected to develop warmth and texture, while the rainforest greens and ocean blues present in the rug and fabrics were reminiscent of this sub-tropical region.
ESPLANADE APARTMENT

This apartment, situated on the foreshore of Mooloolaba, was purchased very quickly and the clients required it to be fully furnished and liveable pre-Christmas. Fundamentally, the furniture selections for this holiday abode were in accordance with the nautical theme of the apartment building and coastal location. Bulk of the table selections and timber accents were textured oak, with sharp blues and crisp whites being introduced through the fabric and artwork choices. The organic natural look created by the inclusion of woven rattan lamp selections is perfect for coastal style living.
CREMORNE POINT, SYDNEY APARTMENT

Furniture selections for this apartment was driven by the clients love of Balinese and Italian Design. The colour palette was selected to coordinate with the clients existing artwork and were carried through the the office/bedroom with soft furnishings. As part of the services, decorative lighting fixtures have been selected to add elements of warmth and style to compliment the apartments contemporary style.
