Interior designer Eileen Middleton’s own kitchen, in her house in Buderim, Queensland, was in drastic need of a makeover. It had an ugly aluminium window frame, which overlooked a sunroom with no light.
Eileen ripped out the window, opening up the kitchen and creating a light, airy space.
“Every space in the kitchen now has a function”, says Eileen.
“Galley-style kitchen are great in small spaces because they promote easy circulation through the area and are also extremely workable. The sink, cooktop and fridge are all within easy reach of each other.”
