MONTVILLE B&B
Nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Montville this perfectly positioned B&B takes advantage of spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The architectural details created by Eileen Middleton transformed this building into a beautiful country home. The library demonstrates the cabinetry and fireplace detailing corresponding with the selection of cornice, architraves, and skirting. All throughout this home are repeat details in different formats, cabinetry door profiles, tap fittings and luxury finishes. The design outcome is sure to inspire strong memories of a glorious get away.
WARANA HOME
Our commission covered all areas including kitchen cabinetry, Media/entertainment area cabinetry, Space layouts, Furniture Selection services and Interior Finishes Selection services.
Young & bold – This home showcased major transformation through the new space layouts, the redesign of cabinetry, and the selection of finishes & furniture. The intention was to create spaces that would encourage the family to gather for various activities. Dark & ordinary spaces were converted into a light and airy environment filled with youth, through the injection of colour & design from the selected furniture pieces and feature rugs. Integrated cabinetry design for the kitchen and entertainment unit also provided plenty of concealed storage, leading to a clean & minimal look overall, giving the attention to the selected furniture pieces and soft furnishing once again.
MINYAMA HOME
Our commission covered all areas including kitchen cabinetry, dining room detailing including impasto finish to the columns, ceiling panels and screen partitions. Media area cabinetry, Space Layouts and Furniture Selection services. Also, the services included, Interior Finishes Selection services.
The house was designed with a concealed entry that provided for a wide glass frameless entrance door the allowed light penetration into the foyer space. We specified a forged brass entrance handle that was an art piece on its own. The Kitchen design included a generous butler’s pantry that provided for preparation and plating up during family gatherings and functions. Included is a feature staircase clad in Axolotl decorative metal finish creating statement in the center of the home. The selection of furniture had to fit within the constraints and complemented the client’s preferences for a warm colour palette. Oriental colours and patterns were introduced through the upholstery selection, that linked to the reds and chocolate browns within the interior finishes’ selection. The upper lounge area featured a pendant light that was suspended over the staircase. The house extended to a Master Suite and various bathrooms. A study was fitted out on the upper level overlooking the canal.
BUDERIM TIMBER HOME
Our commission covered all areas including fireplace and media cabinetry design, kitchen & bathroom design, entertainment/media room, wet areas, walk in robes, office fit out, lighting plans, electrical plans, window treatments and soft furnishings.
After living in the outback for several years and gaining an appreciation of a practical lifestyle and a good sense of simplicity, these clients requested a casual yet luxurious home that embraced finishes linking back to the urban mountainside location. Timber elements were used in the kitchen and repeated throughout the home to enhance a natural style and an element of warmth. A distinct connection can be seen between the natural style and artistic artefacts from the outback.
